The Dark Tessellation Series get their name from the honeycomb resin handle. A Tessellation is a series of geometric shapes and we call it the Dark Tessellation Series because the of the dark blue background, which is the colour of the resin, in which the geometric shapes are imbedded in. 

The Dark Tessellation Series 17.5cm - 7 inch Damascus trimming/boning knife is well suited to the boning and trimming jobs in the kitchen. This knife can be used for filleting but is NOT a flexible knife.

 Handle:

• Made of sturdy and durable resin material
• Handle 20 mm thick, 25 mm high and is a rounded rectangle shape with a very comfortable bolster which is great for a pinch grip
• Resin colour is quite dark and appears almost black in some lighting conditions but in bright light it appears very dark blue which lightens towards the top or bottom of handle
• Full tang (knife blade is connected to the end cap and runs through the knife handle).
• Plain chrome look end cap
