Ready in about: 40 minutes, serves: 6
- 1 ½ lb. beef sirloin tip steak
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1½ tsp. ground cumin
- 1½ tsp. chilli powder
- 1½ tsp. Brown sugar
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 1½ tsp. kosher salt
- Gather the first eight ingredients in a small ceramic bowl. Rub all sides of the steak. Refrigerate covered for 2 hours. Spend these 2 hours sharpening and admiring your Damascus knives.
- Grill beef over medium heat on a greased grill rack for 8-10 minutes on each side or until cooked as desired.
- Allow 5 minutes to rest before shifting to the slicing board; slice with a sharp Damascus cooking knife.
